Materials Matter Exhibition 2024 - stand 7B201

We invite you to the Materials Matter Exhibition 2024, the event organized by Matter Group that will take place within the Rebuild Fair that brings together new trends in environmentally friendly coating materials and products.

Matter is a services company and knowledge exchange platform based in Barcelona and Madrid. Since 2017, it has promoted the materialization of innovative, sustainable and healthy architecture, through its consulting services and sales of materials.

Matter also has its own internal communication agency, The Gray Matter Agency – TGMA -, from where it promotes the dissemination and promotion of architectural culture through the exchange of knowledge, the organization of events, interviews, creation of audiovisual content and other outreach actions. It also offers representation and brand positioning services, to facilitate the approach of the industry to professionals in the sector.

Given the paradigm shift experienced by the construction sector, and in a context in which sustainability is more necessary than ever, Materials Matter 2024 Exhibition exposes innovative materials and promotes knowledge among professionals and the sector. Innovative finishes and products for architecture and interior design projects will be exhibited, such as: lime coatings, recycled plastic, wood coatings, parquet, recycled vinyl flooring, textured cement coatings, large format porcelain tiles, stone, bathroom elements and accessories , taps, mechanisms and façade enclosures among others.

An exhibition that will take place during the Rebuild Fair, specifically will be located at stand 7B201 within pavilion 7.

At the stand we will have activities every day:

10:30 - 11:30 Contemporary Materiality

14:00 - 15:00 Material and Color

17:30 - 18:30 Materiality and sensoriality

Matter organizes and moderates on Thursday 21st from 5pm to 6pm in the Main Auditorium Sika a space for discussion and exchange of knowledge

CRITERIA FOR SELECTING MATERIALS IN THE DESIGN PROCESS CONTEMPORARY

We will discuss about contemporary materiality, the one that takes care of the user and the environment. We will exchange points of view and experiences on the criteria for selecting materials for architecture and interior design projects. A look at the current state and future perspectives in terms of materials. In this debate space we will have the participation of Ramón Esteve, Belén Moneo and Jeff Brock from Moneo Brock, Albert Gil from Batlleiroig and Izaskun Chinchilla.

During the Rebuild fair, Matter organizes the TALKS THAT MATTER: SUSTAINABILITY and BEAUTY in the Workshop Arena Auditorium that will take place on March 19, 20 and 21 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

HOUSING Tuesday the 19th, HOTELS: Wednesday the 20th and WORK SPACES: Thursday the 21st.

Where architecture and interior design studios will share recent projects with different applied materials. We will have the participation of offices such as  Beta 0, Arenas Basabe, Satt, Lázaro Rosa-Violán, Estudio Caramba, GCA, FRPO, L35 y Batlle y Roig, among others. Brands such as Gessi, Bolibar, FEDE, Elval Colour y Bolon.  will accompany us.
